Albin 40 Trawler
1987–1993
The Albin 40 Trawler is a Taiwan-built semi-displacement aft-cabin cruiser with two staterooms, galley-down interior, lower helm, flybridge and full walkaround decks. A deep skeg protects the propellers and rudders. Single-diesel power existed, but twin Ford Lehman and later Cummins installations are common, giving the 40 greater maneuverability and moderate cruising speeds at the cost of more machinery.
