Albin 28 Tournament Express Engine Box

The Albin 28 Tournament Express is a heavily built Downeast-style fish-cruiser on a modified-V hull with hard chines and a prop-protecting skeg. The original arrangement places the engine beneath a cockpit box, preserving comparatively direct machinery access at the cost of an interrupted cockpit sole. A single diesel provides mid-teen cruising speeds with compact overnight accommodations below.
